Social identity of citizens in social and cultural space of the Murmansk Oblast

The article presents the results of sociological research on determining the processes of social identification in social and cultural space of the Murmansk Oblast. The author considers social identity as the result of individuals’ presence in a particular group or community, explores the construction of social space in the perception of “insider” and “outsider” communities and groups
