The economic and social well-being of the Vologda Oblast rural female population

The article deals with the peculiarities of the socio-economic status and attitudes of rural female population in comparison with other categories, defined according to the territorialgender criterion, for the period of 2010 – 2011. The rating of this group, as one of the least protected categories among the population as a whole, is shown. The set of necessary measures aimed at the improvement of human potential quality in rural areas is provided
