The growth of the professional and qualification imbalance between the labor markets and educational services is aggravated by the pronounced regional nature. In each region, the labor market is part of the socio-economic system. Studies have shown that in the Republic of Bashkortostan there is a significant imbalance in a number of training programs. In addition, there are subjective behavioral factors of university applicants and graduates, which increase the imbalance of the labor markets and educational services. Statistical data and survey results helped us to construct possible options for the behavior of students/graduates in specific training programs, both in terms of continuing education and in terms of entering the labor market. We put forward the research hypothesis, which is that the decisions made by the applicant / student / graduate on their educational trajectory correlate with the values of the imbalance of the labor markets and educational services in key training programs. To test the hypothesis, we have identified eight main nodes of the formation of the educational trajectory, possible consequences of the implementation of these trajectories determining the imbalance level between the training of specialists and demand in the regional labor market, factors and conditions affecting the choice of an individual educational trajectory of students / graduates. We have analyzed he behavior of graduates of universities of the Republic of Bashkortostan on the educational trajectory and made the corresponding conclusions. The research results are the basis for building the routes and educational promotion programs required for the region, determining the necessary management actions to direct students / graduates to the target behavior of ensuring the staffing needs of the region
